"Child sexual abuse in Nepal is criminalised under the Muluki Aparadh Sanhita (Penal Code) 2074 — Section 219 (rape, with age-graded penalty: 16-20 years for victim under 10, 14-16 years for under 14, 12-14 years for under 16, 10-12 years for 16-18); Section 220 (incest, life imprisonment for natural parent-child; no limitation); Section 225 (non-penetrative child sexual abuse, up to 3 years + NPR 30,000). The Act Relating to Children 2075 (2018) Section 66 covers online and inducement-based abuse with up to NPR 75,000 + 3 years. The 2022 amendment extended the rape limitation to 2 years (general) and 3 years (minors / disabled / elderly)."
